CEO of Google Eric Schmidt is throwing in the towel. Schmidt is stepping down as CEO and will be taking on the role of Google’s Executive Chairman. Schmidt mentioned in the article that he will focus on broader business partnerships, technology leadership, product development and government outreach. In reading this article my first thought is why would someone who has had great success with Google want to step down? Schmidt stated that since Google has expanded the managing it has become a challenge. I have posted the link to this article.
